Kränzle has manufactured high pressure cleaning equipment in Illertissen, Bavaria since 1974, and marked fifty years of manufacture in 2024. The range has been supplied in South Africa since 1989.
Better perfect than cheap
In 1976, Kränzle Germany introduced its slogan: "Lieber Perfekt als Billig," which translates to "Better Perfect Than Cheap." It's an approach that has helped establish Kränzle as a trusted brand in high-pressure cleaning around the world.
More than 100,000 pressure washers a year are built at Illertissen, on one site, where production and quality control of almost all components take place. Every machine is checked by hand before it leaves the factory.
Quality components
The pump is the heart of the machine. Kränzle pump heads are forged from special brass, the pistons are stainless steel with a ceramic coating, and the professional range runs four-pole motors at 1,400 r.p.m. Wear parts are meant to be replaced rather than sealed in, so a machine is repaired and kept working rather than thrown away - which is what the slogan means in practice.
Machines built this way are used in the trades, in agriculture, in the automotive industry and in domestic use, in more than 70 countries. What each component does, and what Kränzle South Africa adds locally, is set out under why choose Kränzle.
The range
Around 75% of the machines Kränzle builds are used in commercial environments rather than domestic ones, and the range is specified accordingly.
