Tecnovap industrial steam cleaners are three-phase 400 V steam generators built for heavy-duty, continuous work. They carry higher power ratings, larger water and detergent tanks and greater steam output than single-phase machines, so they can run for long stretches across demanding commercial and industrial sites.
Higher boiler outputs, up to around 36 kW on the largest models, produce more steam at higher pressure for faster cleaning over large areas and heavier soiling. As a guide, a 3.75 kW boiler makes about 6 kg of steam an hour and a 36 kW boiler about 58 kg an hour. An automatic water refilling system feeds the boiler from a cold-water tank as the level drops, so the machine keeps producing steam without stopping to depressurise and refill. Detergent injection and overheated-water injection are available for heavier work, and MyTecnovap connectivity on supported models shows boiler status, temperature and maintenance on a phone.
Every machine is built around the same single stainless-steel boiler, built to hold up under continuous use and made in Italy to the same standard as the rest of the range, which you can read about on the Tecnovap Steam Cleaners page. With the right accessories, an industrial steam generator takes on food and beverage production lines and equipment, bottling lines, conveyors, industrial ovens, large commercial kitchens, machinery, and large floor and wall areas. Dry saturated steam sanitises as it cleans, using far less water and chemical than conventional high-pressure or manual methods.
Because they clean with steam in place, these generators take on machinery, equipment and conveyors without dismantling them, and in many food and beverage settings the work can be done during the production cycle rather than stopping the line. Dedicated conveyor-belt cleaning systems, built to the belt and driven by the steam generator, are available on request.
Because they run on three-phase 400 V power, these machines need the right electrical supply on site, so it is worth confirming the model and power rating for the application. For lighter, plug-in machines, see our Tecnovap Steam Cleaning Machines. For steam with integrated extraction, see our Steam Vacuum Cleaners.

All boilers are single-body stainless steel. Several models are supplied in more than one power variant, so confirm the exact rating and steam output for the application on quotation. The listing also carries the higher-output Steam Power and Steam Turbo generators and the diesel-fired Steam Sky; request a quote for their specifications.
Frequently asked questions
What power supply do these machines need?
Three-phase 400 V. These are industrial steam generators, so they need a three-phase electrical supply on site rather than a standard socket. It is worth confirming the model and its power rating against the supply available before ordering.
How much steam do they produce?
Steam output scales with boiler power. As a guide, a 3.75 kW boiler makes about 6 kg of steam an hour, and a 36 kW boiler about 58 kg an hour. More steam means faster cleaning over large areas and heavier soiling.
What is the automatic water refilling system?
A pump feeds water from a cold-water tank to the boiler as the level drops, so the machine keeps producing steam continuously without stopping to depressurise and refill. Conventional machines have to be switched off and depressurised to refill.
What is MyTecnovap?
MyTecnovap is a Bluetooth app that monitors and controls the machine's main functions, showing boiler status, temperature and maintenance on a phone. It is available on the Steam Box and Steam Power models.
Which sectors are industrial steam generators used in?
They are used in food production, manufacturing, transport and healthcare, on production lines and equipment, industrial ovens, large kitchens, machinery, and large floor and wall areas. Dry saturated steam sanitises as it cleans, using far less water and chemical than conventional methods.
