No Water From The Nozzle: High Pressure Cleaner is Running and Pressure Gauge Is Showing Full Pressure

Problem:

Water not coming out of the nozzle even though the high pressure cleaner is running and the pressure gauge shows full pressure.

Cause:

The main cause of this issue is that the nozzle attached to the lance may be blocked with dirt or that the water supply feeding the machine is dirty.

The stainless steel pressure gauge will show that it has full pressure, but you may be facing an issue of little or no water at all coming from the nozzle.

Please note: The liquid inside of the high pressure gauge is not water but is filled with glycerin to dampen the vibration of the pointer to show an accurate pressure reading.

How to fix:

If you are facing this issue follow the procedure:

Switch off the high pressure cleaner and pull out the machine's electrical plug from the power socket.

Pull the high pressure gun trigger to release any built-up pressure in the hose/machine, this will decrease the pressure and allows you to loosen the gun from the hose (releasing the pressure in the machine helps to prevent long-term damage and increase the service life, this should be a common practice when using your pressure washer.)

Remove the high pressure gun from the hose and then remove the lance to access the nozzle easier. Rinse out the high pressure hose for possible soiling.

While doing a check on your machine, check your water filter for possible soiling causing dirt and blockages in the nozzle.

There could be dirt blocking the nozzle. Try and take a wire (paper clip) and push through the nozzle opening.

If this procedure is not successful, please contact us as the nozzle may have to be replaced.

NB: Pull the plug from the socket before starting any repair work!
